How are love offerings and donations gifted to SafePlace? Cash donations made at the workshop or sessions will be collected by the Ishtar Project council, and donated to SafePlace. Facilitators tally and hold cash donations. Members of the council will collect these donations at an arranged time. On-line offerings made to SafePlace, through the SafePlace website, benefit the organization directly. Note: if participants donate online, they are asked to bring their receipts of donation to workshops/sessions, as their tickets to participate. The council will also collect these receipts.

What can I do to spread the word about the Ishtar Project? Help us get the word out!

• Share your sessions/workshops via the channels you already use to advertise their efforts - through e-mail networks, website, social media marketing, and other tools.
• Advertise your fundraising session or workshop as part of the Ishtar Project.
• The Ishtar Project council will also provide facilitators with fliers they can e-mail, post on their websites/social media sites, or display in other locations throughout Austin.

As facilitators, you can expect the council to get the word out through the Ishtar Project website, e-mail networks, fliers, and press release. SafePlace is also sharing our efforts on their website!

Where will Ishtar Project events take place? Ishtar Project events take place throughout Austin. Because facilitators design their events and sessions, locations vary. Please see the calendar for more information.
